You'll spend your first few days hiking Mount Rainier's most iconic trails, through wildflower meadows, around glacial lakes, and beneath snowcapped peaks, before spending each evening cozied up around the campfire. Next, the journey continues north to North Cascades, where you’ll spend your next 3 days exploring some of the most beautiful mountain scenery in the Pacific Northwest. Plus every detail of the trip is handled, from meals and park logistics to gear and guidance from 2 medically-trained naturalist guides, so all you need to do is show up ready for a week of hiking, camping, new friends, and soaking up the best of the Pacific Northwest!

Explore two of Washington’s most iconic national parks: Mount Rainier and the North Cascades, which is one of the least visited (and arguably most beautiful) national parks in the U.S.
Enjoy daily guided hikes led by two medically trained and naturalist guides, who share expert insights into the region’s wildlife, ecosystems, and geology.

Experience Required: Prior Hiking Experience
This trip is heavily hiking-focused. Expect a high amount of physical activity on each day of this trip, with hikes ranging from moderate to challenging depending on the conditions. It’s recommended that participants have prior hiking experience, are able to hike 6+ miles with over 2,000 ft of elevation gain comfortably, and feel excited to be active for several hours at a time each day of the trip.

This is an active adventure designed for travelers who love spending their days outdoors and exploring on foot. While this trip doesn’t include backpacking or multi-day treks, it does feature daily guided day hikes through Mount Rainier and North Cascades National Parks, both of which are known for their stunning alpine scenery and rewarding trails. Evenings are spent relaxing at camp or the glamping site, enjoying home cooked meals, taking a dip in a nearby lake, campfires, and downtime to rest and recharge for the next day’s adventure. This trip strikes the perfect balance between active exploration as well as some time to relax in nature.
Camping: During the first portion of the trip in Mount Rainier National Park, you’ll spend three nights camping at a scenic group campsite selected by your guides. The exact site will be chosen closer to departure based on availability. Camping gear is provided, including tents, sleeping pads, and group cooking equipment (you'll just need to bring your own sleeping bag or rent one of ours!) so you can pack light and focus on the adventure. Please note: there will be no shower access during this portion of the trip, though restrooms are available at the campground.
Glamping: For the second half of the trip, you’ll glamp at Rolling Huts in Winthrop, Washington, just outside of North Cascades National Park. Each "hut" features a queen-sized sleeping platform and modular furniture that can be configured into a second small double bed. Each hut has an adjacent portable toilet along with full bathrooms and hot showers that are located in the central barn just a short walk away.
Shared Accommodations: This trip includes shared accommodations throughout, with all guests sharing spaces with fellow female travelers. If you’re traveling solo (which most of our guests do!), we’ll pair you with a roommate. Single supplements may be available upon request - please reach out during booking to inquire about availability.
Along with professional guides who will accompany you throughout the activities on the trip, you will also be joined be a More Girls Outdoors Ambassador. Our Ambassador is the friendly face who helps keep the trip running smoothly - she will assist in handling the logistics, guiding the group through the itinerary, and making sure everyone’s where they need to be. She is also your go-to for any questions or issues and will capture awesome photos throughout the trip to share with everyone afterward. We’re still picking the perfect person for this role, but you can count on them to make the experience easy, fun, and unforgettable. (Note: Kat, founder of More Girls Outdoors, will most likely not be joining this trip but is working on picking her perfect replacement!)
Our trip will begin and end at the Seattle Airport (SEA) in Washington. The meeting time on Day 1 will be 1 PM and flight departures on Day 7 should be no earlier than 4 PM.

By booking this trip, you agree to our Terms & Conditions, the full document will be provided for your review at the time of booking. A non-refundable $700 deposit is required to reserve your spot at the time of booking. The remaining amount is due 60 days prior to trip departure. Late or missed payments may result in removal from the trip without refund.
Cancellations made more than 120 days before the trip may be eligible for a partial refund (minus the deposit and any non-recoverable vendor fees). Cancellations within 120 days of the trip are non-refundable. Deposits can be transferred once to a future trip or another participant for a $100 fee.
The itinerary may be subject to change due to safety or operational reasons.
You confirm you’re physically able to participate and accept all risks involved in adventure travel. No refunds will be issued for unused portions or removal due to health, behavior, or missed payments.

Welcome to Washington! Upon arrival into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), you’ll meet your trip guides and group members before departing for Mount Rainier National Park. You’ll set up camp, get settled into your tent, and enjoy your first dinner together as your guides brief you on the week ahead.
Overnight: Mount Rainier National Park (Camping)

Wake up to fresh mountain air before heading out to explore the iconic Paradise section of Mount Rainier National Park. This area is famous for its wildflower meadows, glaciers, and panoramic views of the mountain. You’ll spend the day hiking one of trails your guide has expertly picked out for the group before returning to camp for dinner, games, and a relaxing evening under the stars.

Continue your adventure in the Sunrise area of the park - known for its sweeping views and high-alpine terrain. Today’s hike may lead to a glacial lake where you can dip your toes in the crystal-clear waters or take in the surrounding peaks. Spend your final evening in the park by enjoying dinner with your group as the sun sets over the mountains.

After breakfast, it’s time to head north toward the North Cascades region! Enjoy a scenic drive through small mountain towns en route to your next home base near Twisp, where you’ll trade tents for fun glamping accommodations. Settle into your cozy space, unwind with a well-deserved shower in the communal bathhouse, and enjoy a relaxing dinner as you prepare for your next few days of exploration in one of the least visited and most beautiful parks in the U.S.

Today you’ll head into North Cascades National Park, filled with alpine lakes, jagged peaks, and beautiful valleys. Your guides will pick the perfect hike that will lead you to stunning viewpoints or opt for a more challenging alpine hike. Whichever route you'll go, expect incredible photo ops, glacier-fed lakes, and plenty of views.
Overnight: Rolling Huts (Glamping hotel)

Enjoy your final full day of adventure as you explore more corners of North Cascades National Park. You’ll continue seeing parts of the park that we didn’t visit the day prior. In the evening, you’ll gather around the campfire for the final farewell dinner.

It’s time to say goodbye to the mountains and head back to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). You'll stop by a local bakery on the way back to grab a pre-flight meal. Then say goodbye to your new friends and leave with unforgettable memories!
